May death do us part
By: Jacqueline von stratum
Here I am standing in the city of Verona where unhidden secrets lay to be yet discovered. With the help of Verona’s citizens and the two affected families, I shall dig deep into this story and find out these so called ancient grudges. This story has been said that the two star crossed lovers themselves have taken a most affectionate, love for each other to there death. It has come to my attention these two house holds both alike in dignity have an ancient grudge between them just developing and increasing more over the years, it has been said that these fights have been going on for a while. But the unexpected happened, two heirs of the house holds (Juliet Capulet), and (Romeo Montague) have been married and with this marriage the two house holds (Montague) and (Capulet) must put their differences aside and assuredly keep peace in all.
Star-crossed
Romeo Montague:
I’m pretty sure you have heard many rumors on Romeo Montague, but today I am here to clear up those rumors. Romeo Montague 16 year old male, very handsome indeed no doubt about it, it has been said that he has an amazing soul, he can drive girls crazy. He had one other lover before Juliet Capulet her name was Rosaline and what is unbelievable is that she was part of the Capulet house hold too. He thought that Rosaline was the love of his life,
but obviously he was wrong because when Rosaline left Romeo to become a nun he went off and found Juliet Capulet. Everybody’s question was Romeo really in love with Juliet or was she just a rebound or perhaps he was not in love with Rosaline and just used, her now we will never find out for he has taken this secret to death.
Juliet Capulet:
Juliet Capulet was a sweet 12 year old girl sweet sensitive mature for her age that’s for sure. Her best friend was her nurse she was practically her mother. She nursed her ever since a baby. Juliet had total confidence over the nurse; the nurse was even part of her and Romeo’s relationship. She also had a cousin named Tybalt; they were pretty close. Most people said she was an honest respectable person.
Testimonies
Benvolio: “in my opinion I think that Romeo was so stupid and retarded for falling for Juliet. Juliet was so easy she was an airhead. It’s all her fault that Romeo killed himself. I do feel sorry that Romeo had to end like this but who can blame them they were so stupid and Romeo does deserve somebody as easy as her. I hate her and there family for this, I hope they rote in hell.”
Nurse: “I am very devastated about my baby’s death. She was so young and Romeo just took advantage of her. She did not deserve to go this way. She was so young, beautiful and had her whole life ahead of her. I wish I could go back in time and not talk to her for Romeo I regret everything I did for her about Romeo and I wish my baby was still here with me."
Consequences: I think that the prince should punish the friar, the nurse and all the house holds involved. He should kick all of them out of Verona and not let them come back, leave them broke and no money what so ever.
