"M3RCy" KilliNG!!! :/
1a. Explain George's perspective for what he did to Lennie.
I think that George thought to kill Lennie was the best option because he was sick and tired of running away. He was tired of bailing Lennie out when he needed him. Lennie was mentally disabled and he couldn’t go on anymore. And if Curley would’ve caught them then they would’ve tortured him and killed him in a bad way. When George killed him he was happy and dreaming of something that he really wanted.
1b. Do you think that was the best thing to do for Lennie?
I think that, it wasn’t the right thing to do for Lennie because he was such a nice a guy full of hopes and dreams, but then again yea it was the right thing to do because Lennie couldn’t go on anymore the same thing would happen again and again and it would just always be the same story. People were already after him and if they would’ve cached him they would’ve tortured him or he would die struggling and he didn’t die that way he died happy.

2a. Using a "quote" to support your response, explain the father's reasons for what he did.
‘Eluana Englaro, who had been in a vegetative state for 17 years, died Feb. 9 in a clinic in the city of Udine after doctors removed her feeding tubes. She was 38.” Her father disconnected her because it was her daughter’s last wishes he wanted to. I understand his dad and I would’ve probably have done it because maybe it was my daughters last wishes. “

2c. Do you agree or disagree with what the father did? Why?
I agree with what the father did because honestly i feel like if she had spent 17 years not moving not doing anything and it was her wishes so i would've wanted to make my daughter happy for the last time.

3a. Imagine and list things that might have been going through the father's mind as he contemplated his "mercy" killing. (In the article, the father's suicide note gives specific evidence of why he did what he did. Elaborate on it.) Specifically, what could he have been negative or paranoid about?
I think that maybe the father thought that there was no way out and he had no other option he was probably thought that why does he have to suffer and not everybody else. He probably thought that life was being so un fair to him. I think that his wife was no help because his wife could’ve probably helped and said there are other options we can get a smaller house or sell our car things like that. He was probably paranoid of losing all he had ever worked for. He felt that people weren’t taking him in notice and they didn’t care about him.
3b. Unfortunately, with America's failing economy, many professionals are losing their jobs. While many do not resort to something as extreme as the man in the article, it does cause stress within families. What are some ways that parents can support children (to succeed in life) that do NOT require money?
I think that what parents can do to support their kids more is that they can spend more time with them. They can maybe talk to them more give them advice. Try not to be so stressed out about work and things. Don’t fight a lot and try to be happy.
